John Magnet Bell

Shame of the Fireside, black tusker, hunter of clouds — I earned these names and worse because I fell in love with a human alchemist’s son.

My sisters drove me from the home fire and I lived on wolves and other vermin. I looked for my beloved without cease.

I imagine the alchemist’s son
would look something like this.

  1. John Magnet Bell, you’re making me a big fan of flash fiction! I really enjoy reading your work. Thanks for sharing! Keep ’em coming.

  2. Very cool! The alchemist’s son is very colorful lol. I wonder what wolves and vermin tastes like. I cannot imagine they would taste very good but Mel Gibson said that “dog is a good meal” in ‘The Patriot’ lol… thanks for sharing!

  3. Wow! I had no idea that cosplay was an old game! I thought that this cool phenomenon was a hot new game that has been spreading like wildfire, and was invented in Asia!
Although the outfit in the above photogragh of this cosplay guy is very colorful and looks like a work of art, the style of this hooded outfit reminds me of a weird looking “grim reaper” outfit (1960’s, you know?).
Furthermore, I clicked on the I09 article link and saw that some of the 1970’s cosplay costumes were really out there! However, some of the outfits were also sexy. But, some of the other costumes reminded me of bondage stuff.
One image looked like Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia? !!!
To add, I love the t-shirt that I chick is wearing at the bottom of this page. To me, the picture on the shirt resembles a human that is half fly.Or, something weird on a colorful background.

  4. “I looked for my beloved without cease.”

    Wow!
